How to support bushfire-affected rescue organisations
We’re deeply saddened by the bushfires ravaging Australia, and our heart goes out to all the people, animals and communities affected. We’re currently coordinating pet food donations via our food donation program and free flights to transfer rescue pets to safe areas.
We want to give a huge shout out to our amazing member rescue organisations and our fantastic partners for reaching out and providing support during this time.
First and foremost, victims, volunteers and communities need monetary donations. This allows organisations to utilise these funds to appropriately aid their current needs. If you are in a position to help, these PetRescue member rescue organisations are needing additional support at this difficult time.

Thanks to our amazing partners, JetPets, we flew these cats down to Neko HQ to find their new happy homes in Melbourne.
Any further support for the Maneki Neko team as they care for these bushfire cats would be appreciated.
Items required for these felines and their new foster carers are:
- Pet beds
- Cat toys
- Cat food
- Kitten food
Items can be dropped, or delivered, directly to Neko HQ at during their opening hours (11am to 4pm, Thursday to Sunday) - 120 Regent St, Preston.
If you're not quite in the position to adopt one of these lucky survivors directly, financial donations would also aid to support vet work required for them to find their perfect homes, and would be greatly appreciated. You can sponsor their vet work directly via the donation button on their adoption profiles. Meet the fortunate bunch - George, Oscar, Oreo and Yogi!
